Performance Characteristics
Wide temperature adaptability: It can maintain excellent comprehensive performance in a wide temperature range of -253℃ to 700℃. Below 650℃, the yield strength is outstanding among deformation high-temperature alloys.
Excellent mechanical properties: It has good fatigue resistance, and its tensile strength, creep strength, and fracture strength are also excellent. After processing, the maximum tensile strength can reach 1700MPa, and the maximum hardness can reach 450HB.
Strong corrosion resistance: It has strong resistance to corrosive media such as acids, alkalis, and salts. In a strong corrosive environment, it can effectively protect itself and extend its service life with its own chemical stability and dense oxide film.
Good processing and welding performance: It can be processed into various product forms such as rods, plates, tubes, strips, and wires. It is suitable for arc welding, plasma welding, and other welding methods, and has no tendency for post-weld cracking.
Typical Application Scenarios
Aerospace field: It is an ideal material for manufacturing aero-engine components and can be used for discs, rings, housings, blades, shafts, fasteners, and elastic elements.
Nuclear energy field: Due to its excellent high-temperature and radiation resistance, it can be used to manufacture key components such as reactor pressure vessels and steam generators.
Petroleum industry: It can be used to manufacture oil well pipes, refinery equipment, and pipelines, and can operate stably in high-temperature, high-pressure, and corrosive oil exploration and processing environments.
Technical Parameters
The density is approximately 8.24g/cm³, and the melting temperature range is 1260~1320℃.
Processing and Heat Treatment Process
The hot working temperature is 1120-900℃, and the cooling method can be a rapid cooling method such as water quenching. Annealing should be carried out immediately after hot working. Cold working should be carried out after solution treatment, and the work hardening rate is greater than that of austenitic stainless steel. Intermediate annealing is required during cold working. Different solution treatment and aging treatment processes will give the material different properties. Due to the low diffusion rate of the γ” phase, long-time aging treatment can give the alloy good mechanical properties.
High-temperature alloy, also known as superalloy, is a specialized material designed to maintain excellent mechanical strength and stability under extreme heat conditions. These alloys are typically based on nickel, cobalt, or iron, and are widely used in aerospace, power generation, gas turbines, and industrial equipment where high temperature resistance is critical.
One of the key advantages of high-temperature alloys is their ability to retain strength, resist oxidation, and withstand creep deformation at elevated temperatures. Advanced compositions and manufacturing processes enhance their durability and fatigue resistance, ensuring reliable performance in harsh environments. These materials also offer excellent corrosion resistance, making them suitable for long-term use in demanding applications.
In practical applications, high-temperature alloys play a vital role in improving efficiency and safety in high-performance systems. They are commonly used in turbine blades, combustion chambers, heat exchangers, and other critical components. Industries benefit from extended equipment lifespan, reduced maintenance, and improved operational reliability. Whether for advanced engineering or industrial use, high-temperature alloys provide a dependable and cost-effective solution for extreme condition performance.
