Chemical Composition

Carbon (C): 0.18%~0.23%, Silicon (Si): 0.15%~0.35%, Manganese (Mn): 0.90%~1.20%, Sulfur (S) ≤0.035%, Phosphorus (P) ≤0.035%, Chromium (Cr): 1.10%~1.40%, Molybdenum (Mo): 0.20%~0.30%.

Mechanical Properties

Hardness after annealing (HBW) ≤217. After surface hardening treatment: For 11mm diameter: Tensile strength: 1080-1370MPa, Yield strength: 735MPa, Elongation: 7%, Reduction of area: 30%, Impact energy: 27J; For 30mm diameter: Tensile strength: 980-1270MPa, Yield strength: 685MPa, Elongation: 8%, Reduction of area: 35%, Impact energy: 27J; For 63mm diameter: Tensile strength: 780-1080MPa, Yield strength: 540MPa, Elongation: 10%, Reduction of area: 35%.

Performance Characteristics

High hardenability: It can harden without external heat. Appropriate heat treatment can produce a uniform martensitic structure, increasing hardness and strength. 
No temper brittleness: It is not prone to embrittlement during tempering, and has good heat treatment properties. 
Good weldability: The tendency to form cold cracks is very small, making it easy to process through welding. 
Good machinability: It has good machinability and cold strain plasticity, and excellent processing performance.

Product Specifications

Round steel diameters are typically 6mm-350mm, plate thicknesses are generally 6mm-300mm. Forgings, seamless tubes, and forged rings can also be produced according to requirements. Shapes and sizes can be customized.
