Chemical Composition

Nickel (Ni) based, with Chromium (Cr) content of 20.0% - 22.5%, Molybdenum (Mo) content of 12.5% - 14.5%, Tungsten (W) content of 2.5% - 3.5%, Iron (Fe) content of 2.0% - 6.0%, Carbon (C) ≤0.015%, Silicon (Si) ≤0.08%, Manganese (Mn) ≤0.50%, Phosphorus (P) ≤0.040%, Sulfur (S) ≤0.020%, Vanadium (V) ≤0.35%.

Physical Properties

Density: 8.69g/cm³, Melting point: 1359 - 1399℃, Specific heat capacity: 417 - 444J/kg・K, Thermal conductivity: 10.1 - 15.5W/(m・K), Elastic modulus: 205000MPa.
Mechanical Properties: Tensile strength ≥690MPa, Yield strength ≥283MPa, Elongation ≥40% at room temperature. Excellent high-temperature performance, tensile strength maintained at 400 - 500MPa at 600℃, and exceeding 300MPa at 800℃.
Corrosion Resistance: Exhibits good resistance to aqueous solution corrosion and high-temperature erosion. It can withstand chloride ion corrosion and demonstrates good corrosion resistance in acetic acid, formic acid, phosphoric acid, and some concentrations of sulfuric acid. It also possesses a degree of corrosion resistance in hydrochloric acid. Furthermore, it shows good resistance to humid gases, hypochlorite, and chlorine dioxide solution corrosion, and significant corrosion resistance to high concentrations of chloride salt solutions (such as ferric chloride and cupric chloride).
Processing and Welding Properties: Hot working deformation is relatively difficult; processing temperature is 1000 - 1200℃. Good cold working performance in the solution-treated state. Heat treatment temperature is 1120℃ with rapid cooling. Good weldability.

Application Fields

Primarily used in seawater, acetic acid, hydrochloric acid, wet-process phosphoric acid, and acid pickling solutions using mixed acids. It can be used to manufacture equipment such as containers, pipes, valves, pumps, and plate heat exchangers, effectively addressing problems such as uniform corrosion, pitting corrosion, and crevice corrosion, especially suitable for environments with high chloride ion content and oxidants.
