Chemical Composition
Mainly contains approximately 59% nickel (Ni), 15.5% chromium (Cr), 16% molybdenum (Mo), 3.8% tungsten (W), and small amounts of iron (Fe), cobalt (Co), manganese (Mn), silicon (Si), phosphorus (P), sulfur (S), etc.
Physical Properties
Density: 8.89 g/cm³.
Melting Point: Approximately 1325℃-1370℃.
Hardness: Approximately 220-250HB.
Annealing Temperature: 1040℃-1150℃.
Thermal Conductivity: 13.8 W/m·℃.
Coefficient of Linear Expansion: 13.1 × 10^-6 ℃^-1 in the temperature range of 20-200℃.
Mechanical Properties
Tensile Strength: The maximum value at room temperature can reach 690 MPa, and it can also maintain a high level at high temperatures.
Yield Strength: 275 MPa at room temperature, and still high at 480℃.
Elongation: Up to 40% at room temperature, and can be maintained above 30% in the temperature range of 20-450℃.
Fatigue Performance: Can withstand up to 200,000 fatigue cycles at room temperature.
Wear Resistance: Superior to most stainless steels and nickel-based alloys.
Performance Characteristics
Corrosion Resistance: It can resist the corrosion of various strong corrosive media. It has outstanding corrosion resistance in chloride, acidic, and alkaline environments and can resist chloride stress corrosion cracking, pitting corrosion, and intergranular corrosion.
High-Temperature Resistance: It has good oxidation resistance and thermal stability in high-temperature environments and is suitable for long-term continuous operation in high-temperature environments below 900℃, and has high thermal strength.
Processing Performance: Good hot working performance, can be forged, rolled, etc., the recommended forging temperature range is 1150℃-950℃; cold working performance is also good, can be processed by cold rolling, cold drawing, etc.; excellent welding performance, various methods such as gas-shielded tungsten arc welding can be used for welding, the recommended welding material is ERNiCrMo-4.
Production Standards: Seamless pipes comply with ASTM B622/ASME SB-622 standard; steel plates comply with ASTM B575/ASME SB-575 standard; bars and wires comply with ASTM B574/ASME SB-574 standard; flange forgings comply with ASTM B564/ASME SB-564 standard.
