Chemical Composition

Carbon (C) ≤0.015%, Silicon (Si) ≤0.08%, Manganese (Mn) ≤0.50%, Phosphorus (P) ≤0.040%, Sulfur (S) ≤0.020%, Nickel (Ni) as base, Chromium (Cr) 20.00 - 22.5%, Molybdenum (Mo) 12.5 - 14.5%, Tungsten (W) 2.5 - 3.5%, Iron (Fe) 2.0 - 6.0%, Vanadium (V) ≤0.35%.
Physical Properties: Density approximately 8.69g/cm³, Melting point 1359 - 1399℃, Specific heat capacity 417 - 444J/kg・K, Thermal conductivity 10.1 - 15.5W/(m・K), Elastic modulus 205000MPa.
Mechanical Properties: Tensile strength up to 690MPa, Yield strength 283MPa, Elongation 40%.

Performance Characteristics

Excellent corrosion resistance: It exhibits outstanding resistance to various chemical environments. It is one of the few materials that can withstand corrosion from moist chlorine, hypochlorites, and chlorine dioxide solutions. It also shows significant corrosion resistance to high-concentration chloride solutions such as ferric chloride and cupric chloride. It also has good resistance to organic acids such as formic acid and acetic acid, as well as seawater.
Various types of corrosion resistance: It has good resistance to pitting corrosion, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking, and can resist grain boundary precipitation in the heat-affected zone, making it suitable for various chemical processes in the welded state.
Processing and Welding: Hot working deformation is difficult, the processing temperature is usually 1000 - 1200℃, and the cold working performance is good in the solution-treated state. It has good weldability and can be welded using appropriate welding processes.

Application Fields

Widely used in the chemical and petrochemical industries, such as components and catalytic systems in contact with chlorinated organic compounds. It can also be used in acetic acid/anhydride production, acid leaching, cellophane manufacturing, flue gas purification systems, geothermal wells, phosphoric acid production, pickling systems, plate heat exchangers, etc.
