Details description
Chemical Composition
Nickel (Ni) as the base, chromium (Cr) content at 14.5 - 17.5%, molybdenum (Mo) at 14 - 17%, iron (Fe) ≤0.3%, cobalt (Co) ≤2%, carbon (C) ≤0.009%, manganese (Mn) ≤1%, silicon (Si) ≤0.05%, sulfur (S) ≤0.02%, phosphorus (P) ≤0.02%, titanium (Ti) ≤0.7%.
Physical Properties
Density is approximately 8.9g/cm³, melting point at 1325 - 1370℃, tensile strength ≥650MPa, yield strength ≥280MPa, elongation ≥40%.
Main Characteristics
Good high-temperature stability: Stable performance in the high-temperature range of 650 - 1040℃, can be used for a long time in high-temperature environments.
Strong corrosion resistance: Excellent corrosion resistance to most corrosive media, especially under reducing conditions. It also exhibits excellent resistance to localized corrosion in halides, outstanding intergranular corrosion resistance, and effectively prevents corrosion in the heat-affected zone of welds.
Good processability: Despite its high strength and hardness, it still has good cold and hot working properties and is easy to be formed into various complex shapes and sizes.
Applicable Standards
ASTM B574, ASTM B619, etc.
Product Specifications
Usually available in plates, tubes, bars, and wires.
Welding Performance
It can be welded using various welding processes such as tungsten inert gas welding and plasma arc welding, with pulse arc welding being preferred. The material should be in the annealed state before welding. Low heat input should be used, and the interlayer temperature should not exceed 150℃. Generally, pre- and post-weld heat treatment is not required.
Application Fields
Widely used in chemical, petroleum, natural gas, power, aerospace and other industrial fields. Commonly used in the manufacture of flue gas desulfurization systems, acid pickling and acid regeneration plant equipment, acetic acid and agricultural chemical production equipment, titanium dioxide production (chlorination method) equipment, and electrolytic plating equipment.
