Specifications and Standards
Specifications: GB5310-2008 "Seamless Steel Pipes for High-Pressure Boilers" stipulates that the outer diameter of hot-rolled pipes is 22-530mm, and the wall thickness varies from 20-70mm; the outer diameter of cold-drawn (cold-rolled) pipes is 10-108mm, and the wall thickness varies from 2.0-13.0mm.
Standards: Chinese national standards include GB3087, GB5310, etc.; American boiler and pressure vessel standards include ASME SA210, ASME SA213, etc.; German industrial standards include DIN17175, etc.
Precision Manufacturing Process
Pipe billets usually need to be peeled, mostly using oxygen cutting or sawing. The heating speed should be slightly slower, and the piercing temperature should be within a certain range. After rolling, the steel pipes should undergo normalizing and tempering heat treatment to improve the microstructure and properties. At the same time, the dimensional tolerances of the steel pipes are relatively strict.
Corrosion and Fatigue Resistance
Shot peening or aluminum coating on the inner wall significantly improves the resistance to water vapor oxidation and sulfide corrosion; fatigue life ≥100,000 cycles, suitable for frequent start-stop conditions.
